And So It's Born
And so is born a website. My newest and greatest creation. By greatest I mean newest.I am embracing Web 2.0. Facebook, cell phone (almost), LiveJournal. And well, everything else.I am now going to move to that mystical place that states that we are all people working inside cyberspace. I am using all sorts of tools to put myself into the internet. The internet is not putting itself into me. And yet I am now no longer a living breathing entity, instead I am a new entity who is changed by the other entities. There is no distance, there is no space. There is only raw words. No, not thoughts, words. A clunky useless version of communication.
When I kiss someone, or hug them, I give them more meaning than babbling for hours will. When I hold someone's hand I can take them anywhere our collective minds can travel. And it's not all psychosexual, it can be a look, a change in voice inflection, or those hugs can be platonic. Communication through the medium of the internet is horrible at best, and abysmal at worst. And yet, it is the greatest way for us to form the world into something, better.
And so the axioms change. Learn a worse version of communication in exchange for more of it. More noise, more babbling, more worthless words. And so little understanding. A land where only the poet is real and defined. How strange.
